Privacy Policy — XenForo Mobile App

This policy explains what data is handled when you visit xenforomobile.app (this website) and what data the XenForo Mobile App product does — and deliberately does not — touch. We keep both lists short, because we collect very little.

1. This website

What we collect:

Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. These are kept for a limited time and not used for profiling.
Contact messages. If you reach us by WhatsApp or email, we receive what you send (your number or address and your message). We use it to reply, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.

What we don’t do: we don’t sell or share visitor data with third parties, run advertising trackers, or send unsolicited email.

2. Purchases

Licenses are sold through CodeCanyon (Envato Market). Your payment and account details are handled entirely by Envato under Envato’s privacy policy — we receive only what’s needed to verify your license and provide support (such as your purchase code and username).

3. The mobile app product

This matters if you’re a forum owner evaluating the product:

Your members’ data stays on your server. The app talks directly to your XenForo installation through XenForo’s official REST API. Member accounts, posts, and messages never pass through our servers, and we have no access to them.
Push notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging using your own Firebase project. Device tokens belong to your project, not ours.
Your app, your stores, your policies. Because the app is published from your own developer accounts under your own brand, you control its store listing, data-safety declarations, and the privacy policy you present to your members. We provide guidance for filling these in during setup.
License validation. The app performs a lightweight license check tied to your forum’s domain. This transmits the domain and license status — no member data.

4. Demo apps

Our demo apps on the App Store and Google Play connect to our own demonstration forum. If you register a test account there, treat it as a public sandbox — don’t use real personal information.

5. Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you (for most visitors: nothing beyond a contact message, if you sent one) and ask us to delete it. Contact details are on the contact page.

6. Changes

We’ll update this page if our practices change and adjust the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the blog.
